Now on display at Rolly-Michaux Gallery. The photographs in this series represent brief instants in time that can aptly be compared to the aesthetic of the Japanese haiku, which describes nature or a season in a short, poetic art form. The images celebrate and reveal nature, the season and mysterious detail. They show nature`s beauty, how it can evoke emotion, and how it marks or even overwhelms our sense of time. These brief moments reflect the haiku aesthetic that inspired the artist`s trips to Kyoto, Japan.
