I want to thank you for a job well done. As we discussed earlier, I am a former commercial photographer, and chose you to shoot Rachel`s bat mitzvah based primarily on your on-line portfolio. Yes, you were recommended by Janie Haas, and that gave us some comfort, but one never really knows until the "prints" arrive. We actually got a good sense of how things might turn out on the day of Rachel`s bat mitzvah. It is not uncommon to hear words of praise from guests: on the food or the decorations. I don`t ever before recall hearing such praise from the guests about the photographer. We heard numerous comments from both family and friends about how courteous, sensitive, and professional you and your assistant were throughout the day. It is not uncommon for the photographer to come off as pushy or in the way. It is a job, and you have to "get the shot". But it is foremost a gathering of friends and family to celebrate a mitzvah. You were sensitive to that fact, mixed in where needed, and slipped into the woodwork when that was called for. In short, you managed to "get the shot" and keep the spirit of the day. Last, but certainly not least, you did get the shots. Your work is beautiful.
The wedding pictures you took for my daughter`s wedding are wonderful. We just wanted to tell you that we couldn`t be happier with them! You captured so much - we aren`t even sure how you did all of it! We were so comfortable to have you in the wedding, and appreciate your ability to capture things in their natural state. You really are quite an amazing artist.

I am still digging out from wedding gifts, sorting through cards, and returning congratulatory messages from friends, and family, but wanted you to know that I have not forgotten one of the MOST important parts of my wedding – you and your photographs. My husband and I had such a wonderful experience with Robert. He was one of the best vendors we encountered throughout the process of our wedding. We met with Robert several times prior to our day to go over photos, packages and timelines. He even accompanied us to our wedding location to scope out the site and to hear my ideas. This was wonderful since he did not pressure us in any aspects and was always open to our opinions; somewhat of a rare quality when dealing with professionals in the wedding industry.
On the day of our wedding he arrived early and stayed until the last minute of the reception. He was ready to capture every moment - and did as the 700-plus photos can show. He was wonderful with my family and bridal party. He also wasn’t opposed to me dragging him around the reception to get every last photograph I had in my mind. He had great ideas for the formal photos and captured the intimate details without direction. This made our photos that much more special.
When we returned for our honeymoon we had messages waiting from Robert. I could not believe our photos were ready so quickly. Upon seeing the photos I could not stop smiling. I look at them almost daily and am still having difficulty choosing the ones to put in frames. All of our family members want albums which is easy for us since we have all our images on CD.
I highly recommend Robert and would choose him again if I was planning it all over from the start.
